COMMENT REFSEQ: This record represents a single, non-redundant, protein
sequence which may be annotated on many different RefSeq genomes
from the same, or different, species.
Proteins of this family belong to the Di-heme cytochrome C
peroxidase subfamily. They are involved in the bioconversion of
oleic acid into oxylipins, a group of hydroxylated fatty acids, in
Pseudomonas. First, oleic acid is converted by 10S-dioxygenase into
            hydroperoxide intermediate (10S)-hydroxy-(8E)-octadecenoic acid
(10-H(P)OME), which is then converted into
            (7S,10S)-dihydroxy-(8E)-octadecenoic acid (7,10-DiHOME) by
            (7S,10S)-hydroperoxide diol synthase.
